MY MODERN FERTILITY JOURNEY

If you have been following me for a while, and on Instagram at @tourwifetourlife, you might have heard me talk about Modern Fertility. So many people ask me and Ryan if we are planning on having kids in the future and, when I heard about how easy Modern Fertility makes it to check on your fertility, I knew I had to try it. Here are the basics: Modern Fertility is a fertility hormone test that can be mailed right to your doorstep, administered by YOU, and mailed right back to the lab for testing. It is SUPER easy (even though it took me two tries because I didn't have a big enough sample of blood the first time!) and the results are very clear and informative. In order to collect your sample, you just have to prick your finger and drip your blood onto the collection card (you can also go to a diagnostics lab to get it done by a professional if you are nervous!). Then you mail it in and wait for your results!

I just got my results back and I wanted to share them with you guys, and talk a little bit about what the Modern Fertility test told me about my fertility! First off, it is so easy to get your results since they put them on your online dashboard. When you sign in after your test, it will look something like this (these are my results):

So here is where it gets more technical. Groups of these hormones will tell you about your Ovarian Reserve (AMH, FSH, and E2), your Ovulation (LH and PRL), and your General Wellness (TSH, T, and fT4). AMH is the "most reliable serum or blood marker we have for understanding ovarian reserve," a fancy way of saying how many eggs you have in your ovaries. This information will give you insight into your menopause timing and egg freezing and IVF outcomes. My results told me that I have an average number of eggs for my age, I may reach menopause at around 51, and a doctor would expect me to retrieve an average number of eggs if I needed them for egg freezing or IVT. In terms of ovulation my hormones were normal and my general wellness hormones were normal and didn't suggest any thyroid issues.
The best thing about the results is the insights that come along with them! Modern Fertility really puts your results into context, giving you advice and helpful information. Plus, your results will help you think through your "fertility timeline" or "reproductive career." The web portal even offers weekly webinars where you can learn more about your results, a 1:1 call with a fertility nurse, and a community of women who all most likely have the same questions and concerns that you do! You can even share stories and advice in the forum, "Modern Women." So, here is my review of Modern Fertility: I definitely recommend using this test and getting your fertility - it is so empowering! I am truly so glad that I was able to collaborate with them and try out this incredible product. Even better, they are partnering up with me to give ALL of my followers get $20 off on their Modern Fertility test, just use THIS LINK! Let me know if you try it out, and if you have any questions you can always email support@modernfertility.com! I will also leave you guys with these fertility facts!
xoxo. Alexandra
